Reaching Out with Compassion to Those in Need
During the Pandemic year (Covid-19) in 2020 just like every other country in the world, Nigeria was also hit especially to the lock down. This saw a lot of capacitated persons losing out of their businesses and hardship struck. A lot of widows sought for succor from Dr. Valentine Nwodo and after a prolonged assistance to these widows, Dr. Valentine deemed it wise that they should be celebrated; this was staged on the 23rd of June 2020, in Abuja and Enugu State. This was when the inspiration to assist mankind was birthed; this drive has progressed until the 28th Day of August, 2024 when VALINTINO EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION (VEF) was officially registered and recognized by the Nigerian Government.

Valintino Empowerment Foundation
Our outreach programs are designed to provide critical support and donations to three vulnerable groups: widows, youth, and children. We believe that every individual deserves dignity, hope, and a chance to thrive.

By providing regular food assistance, we hope to bring joy, comfort, and a sense of belonging to these deserving young minds.

Our medical outreach provides free healthcare services
Medical screenings, and health education to marginalized communities, bridging the gap in access to quality healthcare.

Includes backpacks, notebooks, and pencils, to underprivileged students, helping them stay in school and succeed academically.

Our Upscale Programs
We have strategized to upscale our supports to the larger populace. With your donations, kind and moral supports, we intend to start with the following activities under these four key categories

Valintino Empowerment Foundation
SKILLS ACQUISITION:
We aim to empower some women and widows who are out of ideas of what to do to have a source of livelihoods for themselves and their children. We are planning to collaborate with some private firms to train them on catering services, fashion designing, hairstylist, business skills, soap making, baking, interior decorations and any others useful and resourceful trainings.

CAPACITY BUILDING:
This section is targeting our unemployed or underemployed youths (males and females) to draw them away from streets so they start living a meaningful life and be self-sufficient. Parts of the highlighted programs for these youths include corporate appreciation – web design, cyber security, satellite dish installation, Driving Agro-business modernized farming techniques, plantation, irrigation, poultry, fishery amongst others.

ORIENTATION SERVICE SUPPORTS:
Under this category VEF will provide simple and free health services to the dwellers in rural communities. These includes Eye testing, medical checkup, Blood Pressure regulations, among other basic medical related assistances.

AGRICULTURE DEVELOPMENT:
This category will support small scale farming such as women in the areas of fish farming and processing, goats and sheep rearing, crop [seed] production also Agro Chemicals, poultry, processing equipments and also educating women in Nutritional Services.
